Anisoft 4.2

Anisotropy data browser
                                              for Windows

Anisoft is a MS Windows application for basic viewing and analyzing of magnetic anisotropy data typically acquired by Agico series of Kappabridges (KLY2 - MFK1) stored in binary files (*.ran).

Program features basic viewing of anisotropy data: principal directions in various coordinate systems are visualized either in equal-area or equal-angle projections; quantitative parameters as Km-P, Km-Pj, Log Km-P, P-T, Pj-T, F-L plots. Mouse cross-selection between the list of samples and data points in various plots facilitates data interpretation. Mean tensors are calculated using Jelinek (1978) statistics. Data can be saved either as binary files (*.ran), ASCII text files or data structure which can be easily imported to Pangaea Scientific SpheriStat stereonet analytical software. Current view can be directly printed or exported into portable graphic format (Windows Metafile) which can be easily opened and edited in a number of vector graphics processing programs, e.g. CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator.
